I am about to go look at it, they wanted 1200 and I offered 900 and they said ok. They are moving and dont need it at the new place but I am cautious, this seems like a good deal. Anything I should check or look for?

That's a steal if it doesn't any major repairs.
Just make sure that it moves back and forth and the hydros seemed okay and aren't excessively loud. To thoroughly check it out you have to use it for a while and get it really warm. Probably got a Briggs intek twin engine on it. Check the oil hopefully it's not down below the add Mark. You should never let those get below the full mark. They love to snap rods. I would have it running at medium speed and pull each spark plug wire off one at a time to make sure it runs on each cylinder. I have seen quite a few of these twins that are only running on one cylinder they sound okay but they won't cut grass no power.
