Hoping to get some feedback on this model. I am looking at a used tractor. It seems pretty clean. It is a 2007 with 285 hrs on it, has a 60"mower and a bagger. Asking price is $3,000. I have heard these tractors aren't very dependable. Lots of breakdowns, transmission problems mower deck problems, etc. Not sure if what I am hearing is true or not. Got enough headaches without adding to them. Would appreciate hearing from anyone with info and/or experience with this model tractor.

I can't speak for the 5000 series (it appears that many others already have) since I own a 6284. From what I have learned from others the 6284 is a beefier version of the 5000 series tractors. It does appear from what others have said that the 5000 series did have a lot of issues. I have been very happy with my 6284,
