If it was a 520, I might not hesitate. I don't think the 518 has power steering. Ad states "tractor and attachment in great shape," but that bucket looks pretty bent up.
There don't appear to be any other attachments with the machine.
On the plus side, that tractor looks pretty clean.
At a glance I don't think it's a screaming good deal, but not a bad one, either. If he's willing to deal, it might be alright.

I think all of the 518xi were manual steering. My 520xi is manual steering and my 522xi & 520Lxi are power steering.
