I'm looking to pick up a new deck spindle assembly for my recently acquired older style 48" deck for the LX/GT series (metal covers). The JD OEM part is an AM121342. Looks as though there are also Oregon (82-333) and Rotary (11278) options. Any comments on these Oregon or Rotary spindles compared to JD OEM? Oregon I'm familiar with, never heard of Rotary. Also, do these come greasable with a grease fitting like the JD OEM? None of parts photos I see show the top side of the pulley where the fitting would be.
Thanks

Consider how much you'll save versus perhaps having to replace the third party unit sooner than the JD unit.
For me, the small difference in price wasn't worth the potential annoyance.
Plus, when I have questions the dealer can answer them. Third party items you're usually on your own.

JD makes rebuild kits for spindles so, thats an alternative.

This is like my stand on using Premium fuel. One of the few things in my life that doesn't give me problems is my JD, I could save a bit but why downgrade a great piece of machinery?
