Have a new to me 425 with weather enclosure and 37 blower. It does not have a chute control and I was looking at the manual chute control and then I see that a guy on eBay sells a kit that's a mod and electric. Question is does anyone have the manual setup that has a weather enclosure and how does the wire run? Also does anyone have the eBay kit? Gets good reviews in other sites.. Here is my tractor and the two kits.

I went electric because the cable is not compatible with an X729 cab.
And that cable kit isn't cheap either.
I purchased components to rig mine up. His kit is most likely reasonably priced. The remote key fob kit sounds like a good idea, but how do you hold onto that while steering, swiveling the chute, etc?
Mine is hard wired, and I clamped the switch onto the hydraulic lever that swivels the chute. So I can swivel and move the deflector with my right hand.
Plug n play is good, and so is custom assembled. Just depends on what we want.
