Does anybody have any pics or videos on how to hook up a 54 inch snow plow on there 425 garden tractor? I have a book coming but they said it will not be here for a couple of weeks and thought I would ask on here for some help. I couldn't find any but I was probably looking in the wrong place.

Thanks oldie

What exactly are you trying to figure out? The plow blade and hitch are fairly self-explanatory and can only go on one way. The only area for some confusion is if you don't have the coloured caps and aren't sure where the hoses go.
Youtube maybe?

Well I don't have colored caps but there is a piece that they told me hooks or bolts to the front of the tractor and then the there is the blade and it has a bracket hooked to it. The guy said he couldn't remember ( that gave the tractor to me ) how it hooked up so that is what is confusing me. Just wanting to mess around so I will figure it out. Thanks for your suggestions.

I believe the two ports on the bottom are for the lift and lower hoses, and the two on top are for your angle cylinder. The bottom section of the scv where the lines hook into have the detent for the float. You will have to plug them in and see which direction it goes, I can't remember off hand.

Hope this helps

Well I think I have figured it out. The blade has a JD # mooo54x52 7411 and it would not hook up to my 425 tractor it was about 1/2 " off too wide. so I put this other adaptor that fit on the front of the tractor and then put the bracket with the plow on the bracket and it fit fine. I hope this has not caused anybody any problems but it works for me. Also they had took some duct tape on one of the hoses so I put that in the #1 port and it worked fine. This blade doesn't have a hyd swivel on the blade as far as hoses go you have to manually move the blade with the pin that is behind the blade.
