Maybe a current overload on switch. If pump has ground wire check for good ground. A relay could be added to energize pump when ignition is turned on.
425 fuel pump keeps running
I have a 1993 425 with approximently 855 hrs. on it. The fuel pump keeps running after you turn the key off. I went to the dealer and he said it was the ignition switch. I bought one last year,replaced it and it was good for little over a year. Now the same thing is happening and I figured someone might have a clue as to why??
