Ok so when I got my 1988 240 with the 42" snow thrower attached I was just happy as a little kid!
How ever it needed some tlc .it is great and works better now!
Each time I look I find missing / broken things .
Wheels ...I see from videos that there should be some wheels...
Are these the ones : Wheel Part Number M81716
Do I need JD ...or is there other places to get them?
What size are they?
Can I find a pair @ Tractor Supply?

Got my socks wet for you Bro! Mine are 4 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch bore. Mine have a rounded rolling surface, but I don't know if that would make any difference or not. My guess would be "No". By all means, if you can find a similar product for less, buy it. There is nothing special about these.

Looking at the specs for the wheel you listed, I wonder if the previous owner of mine never moved them from the transport position and wore them to the rounded profile that I am seeing. Mine may well have started out looking like M81716.

Sorry. I used a 42 inch JD snow thrower on my 210 and it didn't have any transport wheels.

I just ordered two @ $12.43 each ... Just as easy as trying than to find other makes etc ...
