3ph deck carrier/work stand

With the weight of the drive over deck being so much heavier than my old 54" deck I need to come up with a way to get under it for service. Pallet forks work, but they get in the way.

I've seen someone here has built a 3 pint adapter that grabs the deck by the rear lift link brackets, but haven't been able to locate the post. I'm thinking this would be a nice addition as a ball mount to my custom Heavy Hitch. Then I can add something like a hand winch and post to my upper receiver and crank the unit upright.

Sorry, but I'm not understanding the issue.

Do you want to lift just the deck up (while off the tractor) so you can work on it?

I always just flip mine over. and work on the ground.
I could get away with flipping the 54 but the 60HC is much too heavy. I saw someone here that built an apparatus that grabbed his deck by the rear lift points. Looks like it makes a great carrier and work stand.
A boom pole is a real possibility, but I swear there was a guy that made an adapter for his Heavy Hitch? receiver and lifted that way. Closer to the machine and less sway and settling.
Scrolled through 128 pages of what did you do on or to...

Then I went to the JD X4/5/7 attachments pictures thread and found it. Pg 9 post #135

That looks like a very handy attachment. I appears that the "front" of the deck needs to be lifted into the vertical position however. A great maintenance and transport tool. :thThumbsU
That's a nice piece of work - but it doesn't look like it would help you with your problem of how to lift the deck if the weight is too much for you.

A simple pair of double sheave pulleys and some rope would likely allow you to upend the deck and work on it.

Was thinking the same thing. Almost looks like a 2 person job, One to lift the front up into position and one then to pin the upper link.

I can lift one end at a time and if it's held in place at one end so that it pivots no problem. I also have the loader on my 3720

I have a block and tackle in the shop or use the boom pole to lift then install the dolly wheels to move around and do maintenance. I can't do that kind of lifting anymore.
