39 Mower Deck

Anyone have any advice on setting up a 39 deck on a 210 tractor? It seems the deck is too far back and the front is lower than the rear.

They can be fun to get mounted, especially with a lot of tension on the deck drive belt. So, loosen that up some first, and get the rear mounts in. Adjust the draft arms (front draft plate) so the front of the deck is about 1/4 inch lower than the rear. The right side deck hanger (for the lift mechanism) is adjustable, to level the deck side to side.

Don't forget to retension the drive belt. :D

Are the draft arms for the deck from a model 39 or a model 47 deck. They are different and do make a difference and the same is true for the deck belt. Roger

As far as I'm aware it's all for a 39 deck.
