1993 Case 3220-
Original symptom was- 3 point with Bush Hog attached would not go down, bucket was slow, vapor in transmission and smelled hot.
Steps taken- changed filter- worked up and down once and then stayed up.
Changed fluid and fitter again. Took Bush Hog off. Now 3 point lowers after sitting a day but raises as soon as tractor is started. The bucket works fine since filter was changed.
I believe the issue was caused by lack of maintenance. The old fluid was dark and thick. The new fluid is clear and thin.
