My electric fuel pump failed. The idea being to put a new one on.

First, off comes the fender.

Second, the back plate has to come off.

That little fuel pump is buried just below the left axle.

As it turns out, I got a nice fuel pump from JC Whitney. They sell an Empi for $30. I've used on several tractors lately in fixing fuel problems.

They're bigger and longer than the old fuel pump, and could not be mounted where it was. So, I did new plumbing and put it in on the cross bar just below the seat. Wrapped it up today, and it runs great......

On the little bar crossing under the seat. Actually, the pump is upside down. Sure. There are several places where the pump would do fine.

I used an Empi on a JD GT-275, and it runs great there. Mine isn't supplying enough fuel, and a regular basis. Now, I need something else.
