Most auto parts stores also carry a light that will fit.

I am also looking for a set my self.The problem seems to be used ones go for nearly as much as new.There about $68.00 for the set new on Ebay and used ones are going for $45.00 give or take a few bucks.

Put in John Deere 318 tail lights into Ebay search and there is a dealer selling them new for $68.00 and change.Brand new I have ordered a few other things from him and he beats my local dealer price even after shipping costs and my having to pay IL sales tax because he is located in IL.Im having a hardtime couphing up that much for them but I guess if I want it completed and original I will have to do just that.

My problem with that is that I live in Ontario. Shipping across the border is not easy now. And can be quite expensive. That's why I prefer a private deal...

Called the dealership today. The taillights are $9.19 Cdn each...lol
I'll pick them up tomorrow....

Now you feel silly, don't you.:ROF Its always funny when things like this happen. You hunt and hunt for the best price, and then find out a local store near your house sells them for much cheaper than online somewhere.

Sorry, I'm not getting the assmebly, just the lens and nuts for the holder. The rest I have...but ya, You really have to watch I guess...

I was just about ready to order the set on Ebay but I need the assembly I have the wire and bulbs.Thing is that guy is a John Deere dealer who is on Ebay?He beat the local dealers price on an orginal seat and a fuel cap gauge.I find it hard to believe he would be marking up tail lights for a 318?But I will check.

That $7.69 is for the lens & the back bulb holder for the lens only, does not include the black plastic insert that fits in the fender that the lens attaches to or the wiring harness or bulbs. I bought VERY similar lenses at my local auto parts store for about $3.50 each to add lights to my Onan 316 (came with reflectors only from the factory). I think I paid another $12 for the wiring harness from Deere.

I checked my local dealers price and they were the same with in a few cents as the Ebay price.$68.00 and change.Includes the lens and face plates and bracket holder and bulbs.No wiring harness or bulb socket I had all of that.There a little pricey but whats a guy going to do when he wants the tractor complete and looking nice and original.I watched used sets and they were going for to close to the same price for used.
