Let me preface this question with the fact that it I have never had to worry about leaves in any previous home, and I am stupid.

I have the opportunity to pick up the 519 powerflow collection system for $400.

I have Gator Blades on the 46 deck right now. Only picked up the 318 last fall, so my only experience with it is snowplowing, which it kicked *** at.

My new acre yard is mostly forest with some lawn, so leaves are a major problem. I already know I should get this power flow, but if someone talks me out of it, I am sure I can find something else to buy for the 318!

So, should I bag the leaves or mulch?

Rubber Squeegee Strip is my guess. It won't dig in.

With my squeegee on my skid shoes don't even touch the ground.

Big pads on the skid shoes.

Make sure the Powerflow system is specific to your deck size and type of deck. That setup works great IMO. slkpk
