317 Value

Guys, I absolutely hate to even ask this but I need a realistic value of SonnyT's 317 with snow blade.

SonnyT's Garage :: Deere has pics of it, I could not seem to get the dang images to insert here for some reason.

His wife wants to sell it and has no clue what to ask. She wanted to see if anyone here could help out on value or is possibly interested. If you are serious about purchasing, please shoot me a PM and I will have help get you in touch. It is located in SE KS near Joplin MO. She won't be able to ship it, so local pickup would be required.

I don't know specifics of this tractor other than it was Sonny's dream machine and I would hate for it to go to someone that will not appreciate and maintain it.

From what I remember it is a 317 with a series I kt17 engine.

I think with the blade $1200-1500 is a realistic market value.... But it will take a while to sell sadly.... If I was closer I could stop by and take a full inventory and give a better value....
Any others with insight on value? I trust the answer from mrbeef, but I want to be able to tell her several agreed on a range.

Multiple data points are always better than one. :fing32:
That's the range I'd sell it in with the mower and plow.
Agree
I would agree with the others at $1200-$1500. Wouldn't the 3 point add a little as well? Unless it's not going with it.
I'm sure whatever he had will go with it. She probably does not realize the 3 point is not part of the tractor, i'll have to ask her.
List all attachments. The brinly disk would be ++
3 point is a good add on, but looks custom slightly limiting its value, not function.
David--I think that\'s a very worthy thing you are doing--and everyone else.
In my own mind--I know he would do the same for any one else.....

Good luck and I hope someone wants it for the right reasons

Well said glenn. I don't have any addition input other than I hope it goes to someone who cares for it as well as he did since it was his baby. We all have that one machine!

I swear if I had the extra cash laying around I would go get it myself! Even if I never used it I would keep it in the garage and maintained in his honor.
I really don't want to dredge this up, but how did the sale of the 317 go?
she has not sold it yet unless she did in the last couple days.
Each market is different, I don't think you could pull close to that down here, but other than pushing dirt here, the blade is useless. I'd figure $1000 or less. But starting high and working down, no shame in that
Beautiful 317, I wish it was closer to me.
