Hey guys,
I just finished putting my 316 back together today. It was almost a complete redo. The engine short block and transmission were left alone. Other than that, every gasket, bearing, seal, bolt, hose, decal (except the deck ones) and most everything electrical was replaced.
The seat is a mess, hence the cover. I going to try and fit my stock 2520 seat to it. I went one size up on the front tires.I think they are going to have to grow on me though. A friend at work painted the seat pan, side covers and hood. I spray bombed everything else.
What you think?

Very nice ! I have a 316 , are those tail lights the electric kind and if so where did you get them.
Hi Mike,
They are lights.I didn't want the reflectors. I just went on JD Parts site and punched up the 318. Got the numbers from there. The 316 has the connector in the harness,so I figured what the hey.:)

Very very nice :fing32: What do the stickers on the hood side panels say?
Hi k91,
They are the stickers that the dealer in Wisconsin put on from the original purchase. I didn't want to remove them.

Looks great. What size tire did you go with and where did you get them. I know a few places that carry them but I'm just wondering who you went with and how their prices are.
Hey enzminger,
I got them from Miller Tire. They were 55 apiece. I went up one size to 18-8.850 x 8.

Hey Swigin,
Yes,it slides around. Not so much while I"m on it.
But I find I'm adjusting it every time I get off.

Looks great! What size arer the front tires? The ones on my 316 look a little short to me. Probably because I have a Wheel Horse GT-14 and Cub super sitting around.
I just got through putting a tube in one of the Cubs 18-8.50-8 tires after pricing a new one at TSC for $48. They must be made from more expensive rubber than they look.
I put on 18-8.50 X 8's. They were 55 apiece from Miller Tire.

I am thinking about doing the same thing on my 332... Do the tires hit the deck on sharp turns? And were you able to get the deck leveled out?

Sweet looking tractor!!!
Hello snoyes,
The tires have plenty of clearance, and yes,I was able to level the deck easily.
Those tires will look real good on your 332.:fing32: I saw a pic of one (332) with those tires.
That's where I got the idea.:)

Hello Ron,
Your tractor is the one I was referring to!:fing32:
OK,let me get this straight. snoyes asked if my fronts cleared.
I also have a 50" deck, and I have stock 6" wide wheels. IMO,the tires look pretty good on 6" wheels. I have plenty of room between the deck and wheels when turned.
Are you saying the problem is with the wider 7" wheel?
As for the larger rears, how close are they to the deck?

Thanks
Greg
