New purchase of 3016 Ingersol tractor today. No spark or fuel. Previous owner replaced the coil and carburetor with new stock with out success. I am working on spark first and found the center wire tab on the rectifier broken off. Ordered new rectifier. Can anyone tell me if the center wire is connected to the no spark issue? When I crank it over the fuel moves slowly through the new filter but plugs are dry. I tried a bit of starting fluid and with no spark I stopped there for now. Any ideas will be appreciated. I will post images later of repairs and progress. thank you.
