So i was mowing last weekend and just tapped a tree with the corner of my hood and cracked it.As some of you may remember, I had done some exstensive fiberglass repairs on this hood in the spring so needless to say i was a little ****** when i broke it again. So i fabbed up a quick front bumper today and used my new "yardsale" welder and it actually is turning out ok.Its not finished,i will be adding another tube under the one in the pic but i will update this post tommorrow with tube on.
.Cut 2 pieces of 2 1/2 1/8 inch flat to 8 inches.Centered and drilled hole for mounting to fit frame hole.
.Put in vise and put 1 inch bend on ends to avoid cutting scallop for tube
.Went to our local muffler shop and got the piece of 1/ 3/4 scrap for free and they bent it for 5.00
.Welded and painted
