I am going to get the carb rebuild kit for the 2n i have been working on. Does anyone have some tips and/or advice before i get started with this project? Thanks everybody!

Make sure you get the right kit for the right carb. On a lot of these old tractors carbs were switched with zenith and other ms carbs.

Yeah i went to get one and relized there were a few different kits to chose from. I need to check and make sure i get the right one. Thanks!

Try and find a "deluxe" kit. It'll have more parts in it.

When your in there... be gentle with the little jet... it's brass and will strip easily.

Check your floats out, too. Make sure that they're not all beat up... and no holes.

Check the mating surfaces of the carb body for left-over bits of gasket... and rust. Anything that would prevent a good seal between the top and bottom.

Carb cleaner is your friend... :fing32:
