My 260s deck only really lifts in the back the front mower wheels almost still touching the ground anyone know what could be wroung

Well, the deck lift on most all John Deere lawn or garden tractors is from the rear, so the only thing I can think of is that your front draft arm is too tight. Just keep in mind that if you loosen it you need to re-level the deck.
