I have a 2550 that is discharging while pto is engaged. Will start to charge
up slowly when pto is disengaged.Any thoughts are appreciated.

Do you have a good volt-meter? read your battery voltage pre-start and it should be around 12V. After starting the voltage should read13-14 volts. After engaging the PTO it should still be around/over 13volts.. Let us know + we'll leave the light on fer ya!raying:
