2520 pics

Here are some pics of my, new to me, 2007 2520 with 84 hours on the clock.
Notice the beefy front push blade.
Got the I-match installed and adjusted the 3ph arms. They are close to the tires, but they do miss. I don't have the loader brackets yet, but, they are ordered. Also, ordered a new Curtis hard side cab with heat. Should be a cozy winter moving snow.
Had to also put the 2305 in the mix. Now I'm a 2 Deere family or the beginning of a herd.
Enjoy the pics.

holy trip springs batman! looks great!
Great looking machines, now time to collect the whole series:thThumbsU
Nice line of equipment! That front blade looks wicked.:fing32:
Nice pair you got there Greg.:fing32:
If I'm not mistaken, that's a JD 380 front blade, and they weren't factory for the newer compacts. I'm thinking someone did a really nice fab job.
Those blades can be pinned so they are rigid (the springs are not used) for pushing heavier stuff than snow.
I got the same blade for mine, though it was made for the orange tractor.:)
I had a lot of kitbashing along with making a complete sub frame to fit the 2520,but it will be sweet when it's done.

Actually, I was told it is a model 70 blade that was made for the older
4000 series. I think he said it had come off of a 4110, just don't
remember.
Very nice, the 2520 looks mint!

I see you have a concrete driveway, put a blower on that thing and you can throw snow a good 60 feet, it's pretty crazy to see.

Are you keeping the 2305?

Haven't decided for sure whether to keep the 2305 or not.
I will likely keep it thru the winter months, more as a backup for
moving snow, in the event I have a break down with the 2520.
I have toyed with the idea of trading it for a zero turn for mowing, then
the other part of me says, just keep it and continue to mow with it
like I have for the past 3 years and to have it as a backup to the 2520.

Greg
Hope you keep the 2305 as a back up. Looks like a mint set up for mowing. And like you say, you may need a back up someday.

Although if it were mine I'd add some green or yellow dingle balls around the canopy.

Something like the set up in this Impala. Only I'm not a fan of the faux fur covered steering wheel. I'm always dirtying them up too fast.

That blade was not available for the 4110, only the stupid undersized 54" blade was.

I fabbed a #380 to fit my 4110 a few years ago...The 380 is the older version of yours.

So is that a factory mount on JD GRegs 2520?

Greg
Oh defiantly not! I wish JD would offer it, but they are stuck on that 54" POS that belongs on a small GT.
Great pair to have around. slkpk

Greg
No, it's not a factory mount.
Guy that I bought everything from, said that he had the mounts
laser cut in order to fit the tractor. Made out of 1/2" plate steel.
Cost him $200 to get the mounts made.
