So far I have 6 hours on my 2012 2320. What should it idle at? I'm idling between 1300 and 1400, but thought I read somewhere that it should idle at 940... My throttle lever won't go any lower than 1340 or so.

Any thoughts?

I fired up my JD2520 this morning to check the idle. It has a pretty consistent idle of about 1100.

Cheers,
Mike

2320/1026R yanmar 3TN76V engines. Mine idles at about 1550. I think they are set to idle so high because any lower rpm may cause vibration that could cause the body panels appear blurry with shaking. Last year I looked at a 455 lawn tractor, same yanmar, that shook so badly at 1000 rpm the taillights were doing circles in the fenders!
