I have a guy that I work with that may want to sell his 214... He doesn't know where to start for an asking price... Any ideas? I have no pics, but, it has good paint, mower deck and snow blade. Smokes a minor bit on start up. I was unsure of a starting price also...:dunno:

A few more details would be nice. What kind of lift? Man electric hydraulic. Chains and weights? Cast iron or concrete? Somewhere between $500-$1000. Will behinds with those questions answered.

I know we live in different areas but I bought a 214 with a deck only and manual lift in early summer for $550; he was asking $600. Pretty good shape for the age. Had a crack in the deck that was easily repaired. Doesnt have an hour meter so I do not how many hours.

Thanks but its no parade tractor. Take a look at my pics on my page. My son has a 1937 B that looks ok and I am in the process of restoring the 1935 B Brass tag that is setting on the trailer in the pics...I do hope to get it slick enough to parade it.

Ok guys, I got more info from the owner of this machine. no weights, chains or weighted tires. He brought me some serial numbers...

Mower number:

H047 467736M

C214L 191451M

I am going by his writing. I may have put a couple together that doesn't belong together.

I would say $750 to start with. That my be a bit high though. Depends on if he wants to sell it or have it for sale. $600, he had better start saying good bye.

Exactly what I would say....
400.00 is good price for that. I wouldn't go over 650 though. Great Tractor BTW a real beast
