I have a 214 that keeps throwing the belt that goes to the transaxle. I'm certain it is routed correctly also.

It seems when I put it in gear and start to take off, it will work for about a minute, then BAM!!!! it throws the belt. Any ideas???

Check the angle of the idler,most likely it is out of line or has a bad bearing,the top belt goes under the idler.And check to see if the pulley on the shaft is still tight on the shaft,should not slide on the shaft.

What Biker said plus now take a good look at the sheave on the transmission to see if it has been "expanded" due to the belt coming off. I had a 212 that had that problem and had to replace the rear sheave and idler.
