214 deck spindle

I have the nut off and want to get the shaft out .How does the pulley come off so i can press the shaft out?

JPETRO1051, wish I could tell you that you can get them off without damaging them, but I would be lying! I've gotten a few off without damaging them! I use a wheel puller on them.

Same here. I managed to get the two ends one off intact,but I trashed the main middle spindle. Luck would have it,I was going to get the speed up pulley anyway.:)
