Would the charging system be able to handle a electric winch if I used a deep cycle battery, I read somewhere that some charging systems can't but I don't remember where. I want to add one to raise a sleeve hitch.

I use a winch on my craftsman with a regular battery and it does ok but I am planning on adding an alternator. another thing, this will depend on how much you are lifting(how much weight, how often,etc.) my 2000 pounder draws 120amps at 2000lbs you can set up a proportion to see how much you will draw:goodl:
