After 7 years of looking I hope to be picking up a 45 loader this evening. I've used the search function and I'm getting several different numbers for the Pressure Relief Valve. So far I've found AM122228, BM15044 and from Green Parts Store the number is BW15044. Has anyone purchased one recently that could give me the correct part number and where you purchased?

I got BM15044 from greenpartsstore. You’ll also need the replacement free whew valve control lever.

BW15044 should be it. I had my loader on my x495, then I converted it to 4x4 with parts from an x738 and had to get BW15044 from greenpartsstore. There is a newer number now and my dealer said $575. The BW15044 is only around $160

Just put one in my X728, I believe I paid about $278 for it but the price jumped to almost double that about two weeks after I bought it:

I bought the new lever from GreenpartsStore.come for $41 or so, but it took almost 3 weeks to come in.

GreenpartsStore.com has BW15044 still listed for $161. Is that part still valid to use?

I recently got a machine with a 45 Loader.
Found that the Manual can be downloaded from Deere.

It includes instructions for assembly and installation on a machine.
The manual indicates the he loader kit includes the neutral rod PA318Guy posted about.

The relief was an extra - because the required one depended on 2wd/4wd.

This is from the manual:

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Use correct transaxle hydrostatic pressure relief valve.
• Two-Wheel Drive Machines: Use BM15043 (AM121248) which has “2WD” stamped on valve.
• Four-Wheel Drive Machines: Use BM15044 (AM122228) which has “4WD” stamped on valve.

As in PA318Guy's post, MIA885144 subs in for AM12228 - for 4wd tractors.

It's in a subsection (section 35) under '45 attachments'

This part substitutes for AM121248
Part Number MIA884863
Description Valve Kit - VALVE KIT, VALVE KIT, RELIEF
Remarks(A) 2WD

and for 4wd

This part substitutes for AM122228
Part Number MIA884868

That's what I used on my x495 to x738 4x4 conversion. I feel like we should have @Sergeant weigh in with a definitive answer

BM15044 is the Original Deere Part Number which was superseded By AM122228 and Finally superseded By MIA884868

If You want to save Money You Just Buy BM15044 The 4WD Valve has been the same Valve since the X575 thru X595 Came out in 2002 Dealer will tell You there Not The same Part But they actually are the exact same Part which is Made By Tuff-Torq and Deere Just adds a New Part Number to it Basically they changed The Part Number to charge More for the same Valve through the Deere series differences MIA884868 is $500 Plus at MSRP and BM15044 is $161.57 at MSRP

Now what I have stated above applies to the 4WD and AWD Models Only

The 2WD Model is BW15043 & that was superseded AM121248 and that was superseded by MIA884863 again if You want to save Money you just go with Part Number BW15043 and again that is $161.57 at MSRP Instead of Paying $463.43 for the Latest Part Number MIA884863

The loader was in very good condition with just some surface rust in the bucket which I expected. It was used very little over the past 12 years so I brought it home. I hope it won't take too long to get the relief valve and new control lever so I can put it to work!
