I have a 2003 bobcat 763 - S150 it runs great except when I use the bob cat 670 back hoe attachment at times more often when I start digging then go back to move over then go back to digging the red general warning light goes on and locks me out from using the hoe , I wait then turn it off /on try what i can and do not see much in the manual to check . I changed HYD filter , changed engine oil and filter , looked for broken wire etc. I bought it in very good condition and keep it up . I use it for my home and help a few friends with it . when it locks out I am stuck ,what can i check to find the problem ?

I am not sure of its location , I bought this bob cat from a person who's husband passed and never had a chance to talk or go over the machine with him . a neighbor helped connect us ,the machine was in excellent condition I now have 2450 hours . I have a complete manual and small operation manual but it doesn't say much about the general alarm . I will look for location of plug reader port . how can i read it ? or do I need to find a shop etc.. The machine works great when just running using bucket and only acts up at times when I have back hoe on and using , strange it works for a while then I go to move machine go to lift safety bar lower it push green button push high low flow then I must trigger as you sit the left hand grip it will then make a noise the lights are to go off and you are set to work ...but so often the lights will not go out or the seat light goes out then the red general warning light stays on so I can not move the hoe , you then get a chirp or 3 chirps . I can hear the solenoid click . after messing around waiting shut down ,walk around etc.. I try again and it works for a while then same cycle

so on my ASV, if I'm getting thrown about a bit in the cab by being slightly over enthusiastic with what I'm doing, the seatbelt sensor loses it connection and everything cuts out apart from the engine. My ASV is 2007 and has only the essentials and minimal electrics so no obd2 port that I know of
You'd need an OBD2 reader if it does have a port
You may be able to find the service manual here https://www.manualslib.com/ its where I got mine from

I never rarely use the seat belt but the seat bar is when i get in out from moving over then jump back on hoe it becomes a crap shoot some times it works some times it will not as the light will not go out . i keep thinking its a bad connection so i am checking inside plugs. I can always hear the solenoid and the click in gauge from seat bar but it's very pesky as i start to make up time then go to move and stop ah . thank you I was reading that if you push on the light and hold it you can get a code except like you said you need a reader.

I wonder after reading more if I should be using the traction lock override more often rather than getting off back hoe seat then raising seat bar sitting again in driver seat and resetting all the functions to move machine . looking at how to use it etc.. and also says you can read codes in hour area hmm .
