I found a 47-inch Deere snowblower that the fellow says was mounted on a 345..... I have a single stage presently but think a 2-stage would serve me better.... the one for sale has the pulley/belt system but not the mounting brackets (which I could take off the single stage I have)..
but will it work..? Would the 335 handle it..?

Also -this 335 I bought has the Deere hard-side cab - should I remove it for the summer as it seems quite heavy..? Is that a bad idea for re-installation issues..? I could just remove the doors / front glass but it still seems heavy....

What do you think about using synthetic grease on the deck bearings / steering linkage / spindles / etc..?

Planning on switching to Rotella synthetic for the engine - but it says diesel motor oil.... what do you think about that...?

.....more questions to come as I get this thing working for me...

Well if the 47inch was mounted on a 345 it was modified to fit( because it's actually for a X530 or a X540 and will also work on a X360). Just keep in mind if one of those Modified Parts Breaks Make sure You can either Fabricate or get another Part.
I really think You best Option is a Bercomac http://www.bercomac.com/products_snowblowers_for_Tractor.php Two stage 44 or 48inch for your 335:thThumbsU
