On the way to dropping off the latest riding mower deal at the storage there were semi trucks, tractors with wagons and 2 combines harvesting corn. One combine had finished a pass and turned around to go up the next set of corn rows. And just ahead of it by about 150 feet was the other combine heading towards him harvesting the same set of corn rows. I wonder which one goofed up?

What kind of riding mower did you get?
MTD 14?hp 42" front engine rider with hole in engine block. Otherwise in "very" good condition,, with complete bagger kit. Plus hood, 42" deck and hydro transaxle from a Murray 14.5hp 42" lawn tractor,,,,, all for $100. He mentioned he had bicycle parts,,, I ended up buying a small box full of the guide sprockets that hang below the rear sprockets, cables and controls from 10-21 speed bikes. Just what I'm looking for, for the pedal cart project. Parts I knew I would need I had not even prayed for yet. Paid $17 for those parts. And a Matchbox plow truck for $2. I had quite the haul for $119.

The chopper pilot who started on the return pass last was the one at fault. He should have held until he could follow a lead chopper or be the lead chopper or stepped out 6 or 8 rows (whichever head they were using) and allow the following combine the opportunity to return on the 6 or 8 rows closet to him and then caught up at the unload. That said, they're both at fault for not staying in contact with each other or communicating better, after all there are radios in those choppers and that's what they're there for! Time is money!
