1997 520-H vs. 1985 414-8 (loader decisions)

Hey all I have the chance to buy a '97 520-H from a friend up the road from me and at an amazing price (in my opinion). The tractor is all there with a 60" mower deck and was running last summer ( I was there and seen it running) hasn't been ran since that night. It needs new tires or tubes all around and belts. For $200 I'm thinking I'm pretty safe on buying it. I have currently a 414-8 with a Johnson loader mounted. That tractor runs good put a new carb on and new pulleys and it has (other then the loader) a 42" deck and a 42" dozer blade. What is some of your guys input on these two tractors for my loader. (Also the 520-H has the steering reduction, heavy axle the 1" spindles and greaseable tire rod ends.) This is my 414-8 with the loader on

You want the 520. No comparison.
The gear reduction steering and 1" front spindles, amd forward swept axles were designed for loader duty. At $200, you're a thief. The deck alone would fetch more than twice that around here.

And honestly the deck is just gonna sit in the corner of the garage and its in pretty good shape and its all complete with the mule drive

Got the 520 this past week and got running today pics to come
Would you be intersted in selling the deck if it's in good shape? Mine is showing it's age. Would depend on where you are in pa also.
