For sale is my John Deere 14SB walk-behind mower. This is a commercial-grade unit and very heavy-duty - much better than your typical hardware store mower. These are popular among collectors and considered one of the best walk-behind mowers out there. The 5 HP Kawasaki engine always starts right up. It will probably need the carburetor cleaned from sitting. All 5 transmission gears work, and it has a good working blade clutch which can be used to engage and disengage the blades. It does not appear to have seen much use over the years - the aluminum deck is in very good shape except for one small hole (see picture), and the wheels are not worn down like you typically see with these units. The original JOHN DEERE badging on the deck is still there and intact. Comes with the bagger frame but no bag (can still be purchased through Deere), and also comes with a mulching plug and a side-discharge chute if you prefer not to bag the grass. This is a very nice unit for its age and will last many years to come. Unit must be picked up in Lancaster County, PA. Asking $225. Can send more pictures upon request.
