A lady bought this machine for her late husband 4 years ago, and since he passed away in March, she no longer has a use for it. The tractor, cab, and blade are all in excellent shape, and the snowblower is pretty good too. Tractor starts, runs, drives well, operates as it should. What is a fair price to ask, and what is a fair price to expect to get for it? I was thinking in the area of 1000-1500, I have no clue what the exact value is as I am not a Deere guy.

I think you're about right. I sold my dads 214 about 3 years ago for $1000. Just the tractor and 48" cutting deck. Both were in very nice condition and ran perfect. I can't really see the condition of yours, but if its nice, I would say around $1250, give or take depending on condition.
