My name is Larry and I just purchased a 1985 PK 2417 glass bodied tractor. It was taken out of a barn in lower AL. I guess nobody wants this kind of tractor in that area. It was advertised on craigslist for a month and I happened across it. I'll post pics as soon as I can figure out how to.

The market is spotty for the tractors. In my area there are few to none glass tractors and a handful steel tractors. You might have plucked one up from a market where they are not interested in PK's (gasp!!).

Welcome to the forum and to PK's!!! I'll be looking forward to seeing pictures of your tractor once you figure out how to post them. I forget how to load them right now but I know someone will come along and help you out.

I used to live in lower AL, and do not recall seeing one in nearly 5 years. Then again, I wasn't looking. These old boys aren't much easier to find in FL, but they are out there.

I took my 68 pk to a show in my area of Tennessee this weekend. No one knew what it was or had ever seen one . I had a lot of fun. It was the first tractor show I've ever been in ( also the only one I've ever gone to.
