I found a hydraulic answer to my manual snow removal problem. I found a 140 H3 with the 54" blade. This is one cool old tractor. It's the first tractor of any size I've been on besides my Cubs for the past 30 years.
I think I'm really going to like this. The hydro is smooth and quiet, the blade functions great, it drives very well and it has all new tires all around. The big Kohler starts as easy as all my Cub Kohlers have and it doesn't smoke.
I was very surprised with how quiet the hydro is. My Cubs are all noisy and some very noisy.
Regardless, I should be picking it up this Thursday and I'll be ready for my hydraulic snow removal season! Oh, the tires are loaded and wheel weights.

All pictures were upright on my desktop...sorry.

Thanks guys.

Now here starts the "duh" questions...

Is the grill correct being yellow? I think I've seen some that were black.

The hyd control levers: the outside one seems real loose compared to the other two, it still functions, just a little wobbly. Is this simply something that needs tightened? I haven't looked it over of course, I don't have it home yet.

Nice score! You will love moving snow with the hydraulic blade. I got a Deere 318 and put a 4-way blade on it last January. After that the venerable 214 with manual blade never moved, even with the remote angling kit.
