I have been tinkering a little at a time to get my 1969 SS12 up and running. It was in good shape overall when I got it, but the motor didn't have spark, and when I dug into it, the piston was really loose in the bore, and the motor had been leaking oil forever, so I opted to swap it. Put the new one in and it was knocking. Thought it was the head gasket being too small, so I swapped it, and it still knocks. Must be Crank end play, so I am gonna just run it.
