I have a 1968 JD 112 kohler that was recently passed down to me from my late grandfather. It has a snow plow attachment that came with it. (Model 43 1970) Anyway I had seen my grandpa use it in the past with zero issues. But now when I install it on the front of the tractor and go to lower it, it still sits 6-8” above ground level. I do now know how to adjust the height as the original manuals he has aren’t much help. Has anyone had this same issue and can help me out? Thank you
Kelly

Under the machine there is an adjustable yoke on the rod from the front of the machine to the rockshaft (where the lift lever attaches underneath) You will need to adjust them to allow it to drop.

Since it is new to you did you lower the deck height adjustment stop knob all the way down? If not it will stop the blade up in the air. You shouldn't have to adjust the rod length. Roger
