Puch built oil injected two strokes back in the 1930s.

Look very carefully at the cylinder head. One seam on the gas tank had started to weep for lack of a better word. I caught it before it was gushing gasoline. We found a newer tank in much better condition. Cleaned it, and had it painted and clearcoated. The decals are now under the clearcoat. Here is a photo of the new tank curing in our basement.

"Pooks", a blast from my past! In the early '50's our Sears had a Puch 250s and 175s on the floor back in the automotive department. They were the pre "Honda style influence" European looking designs and in a beautiful deep dark red. I rebuilt an Indian Brave rather than buy one @ my Woolworth stock boy (person) wage.
