Prolly will have to drop the trans, seperate, weld up the shifter, replace the springs and ball bearings that hold the gear shafts in place
1967 MF 10 stuck in low gear
This is what I know.
Trans will drive rear wheels when I turn input pulley by hand.
Took the shifter out, No way can I pry either one of the shift dealies in either direction.
Wondering what to try next.
There is some rust in the gearbox, but for the most part, things seem to turn freely. The diff works, tires turn opposite when in the air.
I can turn the tires (both same time same direction) and that will spin the input shaft
But the darn thing is not gonna shift out of the gear its in.
Ideas?

I dont understand what would make it stick. I can get good leverage, with the shifter out, on the dealies that have to move, but they wont move.
