Here is a link to the best documentation I have seen on a 1963 John Deere 110. This provides differences between the 63 & 64 models. I think that one of the easiest ways to tell a 63 is by the tube style front axle. 1964 on had cast axles.

I looked at that thread - it's awesome! Thanks for the link. But...you can't use the front axle alone. I have an early '64 (SN 4,600) that has the fabricated steel front axle like the '63's have.

If you want to see changes...you'd be amazed at how much heavier duty my '65 is than my '64. There are changes on dang near every major component.

ET, You are welcome. And I should have known better, not to post that the tube axles were only used in 63. Deere has always used up left over stock from one model year to the next and many early year models had some of last years parts............ Sorry for that !!! You are correct !!!
