I am seeing an addition to the Behop collection of living arrangements. Fill that wanted to park spot if this one is not roadworthy.

Form what I have read some of the Vagabonds would be considered a wide load.
10x40 would not be a hook on and pull anywhere. Some states vary but I don't think away of them get over 8'6" on an RV.

Hope to have a roof and porch on the Puma this summer also. Nothing cools better than reflecting the heat. The refrigerator and ac will like me for that along with the electric bill.
The AC , up on the roof how will you mitigate that . My 81 Avion needs a new AC Heat pump I guess . I guess it just drains on the roof which seem to me a poor design . I've here tell of split units . Maby on a more park model situation .
Been looking at new thec. I only need ac. The forced air furnace heats the place if the propane tank were only bigger.
In your case a mini split maybe more suitable.

The roof is a common place for the AC. Cold air drops and hot air rises. Water dripping from the roof is not a big issue as long as the unit is serviced like it should be. Drain hole should be onto the roof side opposite the doors. For some odd reason we don't like water dripping on us.
New thec allows the unit to start using less power and will be a good thing if I chose to camp off grid.
Here anything permanent needs to be strapped.
Our modular is strapped at the frame. Not sure anything would be left of it but the frame. 60 mph winds would rock it pretty good at times.

View attachment 2586279 me and George is watching a movie on K,E,T . That is our public TV station . Well I am watching he looks like he's asleep . It is supposed to be cold down into the teen's .
You two stay warm out there. We are still hoping to get back into the trailer this next week end. The youngest son has been living with us since last summer. It's just he and I now. Lows are supposed to be in the upper 30's by then. Still about four week to soon to turn the water on.

If I ever do the desert thing it will be on the Arizona side. But to do that it would take some planing. Like solar power, portable waste and fresh water tanks. That and I am not sure I want to live in a temporary community of over 100 thousand. Way to crowd for me.
There is a hundred thousand people living off the grid in Arizona ?
Every winter.

Yes , back in the curve of the driveway . Between the honey suckle thicket and the Iron wood trees .
Honey suckle blossomed yet?
Need to replace the AC in the Puma. It went out last summer. I want to get a roof over it first and into the shade.
That Honey suckle will sure smell nice after it flower. I like the smell of Lilac myself. I had some of my Great Grandma's brought from Germany. But waited too long, deciding where to plant them. I should find out if little sister saved hers when the built their new house.
