Replaced the shutdown solenoid with a new one. It won't engage when you turn the key on, you have to do it manually. It will disengage when you turn the key off like it is supposed to. Anybody ever messed with these, I'm looking for a fix. Thanks!

I'd check the control side of that circuit for a open - either bad connection, loose wire, or other problem. What method are you using to engage it manually?

Good talkin to ya last night :)

Pulled up your wiring schematic at work today. That is a three wire solenoid. Your interlock switch and seat switch as well as the key switch are the controls for the circuit, the solenoid is the load. Wire colors at solenoid:

Green : Ground
Orange: B+ to interlock switch and seat switches
White: B+ to fuse, then starter solenoid

If I were you, I'd check the fuse, check for B+ on orange and white wires. If you don't have anything there. then you can start tracing where it drops off.
