get the exact model number/type code off teh engine and post them. Walt or Red can tell you what your celarances should be and if done at TDC or 1/4 past.
17.5 hp briggs valve adjustment
I am trying to find instructions on how to adjust the valves on a 17.5 Briggs. I'm having trouble starting the mower, to much compression. I have to jump it every time on cold start. It will sometimes restart when hot.
