I'm looking at adding a hydraulic (power steering pump) 3PH to my 1600. What size cylinder do I need? Diameter, stroke, etc... Also, how much weight could I pick up?

In the original 3PH setup for this series of tractor, 2" bore, 4" stroke, 400 lb.

The rear axle is rated for up to 400 lb on the 3PH.

Thanks TUDOR. On that 400lbs, is that just the attachment or attachment and the tractor's own weight together? I think the Yazoo deck weighs around 400lbs itself...

Weight of the implement on the 3PH.

A little more on the specs for the Peerless 2500 final drive. (The rear end for the hydro versions. Should be something similar for your geared transaxle.))

If you find someone selling the cylinders with 2" bore, 4" stroke that's 10.25" long from pin to pin when retracted, please let me know, the smallest anyone now sells is 14.25" and will not work. I have searched the internet and local sources for 3 weeks and can't find one.

Cross tube style won't work without major modification, the tube can work on the tractor end but you need a clevis yolk on the hitch end. Thanks for the suggestion, I looked at those and one with a blank end my clevis could be welded to. I may have to use one to get the proper length.
