I found a fuel leak on the 1650a. The culprit being the petcock on the bottom of the tank. Im not sure if its the valve its self leaking or just the rubber grommet piece thats bit the dust. how do I fix this one folks?

Im thinking of getting some sort of transmission pan plug kit, then just thread a new valve into that. ???

Well I went to the snapper dealer and bought replacement parts. Grommet and fuel shut off valve still dealer available.

On a side note, my dealer has begun to carry simplicity brand equipment. They had a 4wd, diesel garden tractor with a FEL , rear pto with a tiller. That thing was the bee's knee's!

Not sure how I missed this originally but I was going to suggest going to snapper. That's a pretty common valve. One that I actually need to go buy for one of my RER's. I bet it was only 5 or 10 bucks max.
