Thanks all for the kind words

Just Incase u all want to see inside the trans
Don't know if I would want to mess around too much in there....lol

BTW, how hard was it to drop the transaxle out of the frame? I am stripping down a frame in a while and was wondering.
not fun. But doable just watch the brake band. It’s really tight and I almost bent it up

I just noticed in the open tranny pic.... that isnt a limited slip diff like the manual shift 2300 and hydro 2400 have... so having the hi/low option in the hydro 2500 means you lose the limited slip diff.... huh... I'll stick to my gearbox..LOLOL
didn’t know the had a limited slip option. That would be nice. was thinking it be nice to have a locker or something but doubt it’s available. Btw that tooth I found came from the planetary. But if I knew how robust the trans was I would have left it alone. Thinking I might just put it back together and be done with it. Idk. Anyway at least I know now

the crack in the dash by the hood release is very typical.... I cut a small piece of thin aluminum about 1 1/2 x 3 and form a 3" long angle and JB Weld that in place to the back side of the crack... Ive had to fix three of them including the one I just put on the 100.
I actually was thinking about that. Would definitely be easier to do it while its apart.

The real problem tho is the cover between ur legs, barely anything left. Was going to make something out of some sheet metal. Don’t really care if it’s stock but would be easier just to replace it if I can find one.

As I’m not really focused on the body work I have a few options. Kinda like the beat up look.

I believe I have a lower section from a hydro tractor but I dont recall what condition its in so I'll take a look today. Ive had 4 or 5 of these closed sided tractors and every one has had issues with those dash pieces... on the open sided tractors its the grill and battery cover that are always broken.
that would be great. As long as it’s usable I might take u up on that. Like I said the worn look doesn’t bother me. As long as it covers the dive shaft and the linkages.
