im looking at a 16hp briggs out of a simplicity and im wondering what the bore and stroke is its .010 over any body know what the bore is?

According to briggs. all 40/42/46 series are same bore: 3.4365-3.4375 standard bore. Don't have stroke handy.

I suppose you mean the 32000 series cast iron L head single.
Stroke is 3.25"

Good point! Owning 3 simplicity's with 16hp twins, I kinda forgot about the cast iron singles. Std. Bore: 3.5615-3.5625"
