Just wanted to pass along some pics of my 69' 1250 that I'm finally finishing after 2 years. At least the wife is happy. All I need to finish is an original seat & exhaust.

The guy I bought it from bought it that way, it's definitely not a deere. I paid $300 for it, came with tiller, snowblower, and deck. Didn't run. I cleaned the points the day I brought it home and she ran. I sure could use a set of wheel weights.

My Bolens fever started about 8-9 years ago .. I bought a 1250 package deal on e-bay.
1 Running 1250 with a 2nd parts 1250. Two mower decks, one snow/dirt plow, one haban sickle bar mower and lots of new and used spare parts.

I paid $250.00 for everything

Since then .. I have bought 13 plus Bolens large frames and a crap load of attachments :fing20:

I will be out of town a few days and will get a photo or two of the wheel weights, when I get home. FYI they are 45lbs each and you can mount up to three on each side. :fing32:

JDW, looks real sharp. Maybe the reason I am not a Deere fan, is because almost everyone else seems to be. Kinda like Nike sneakers, Starbucks and McDonalds, there are more choices out there and usually a cheaper better choice it is. Funny thing is, after painting it the JD colors, they left the red Bolens decals. You would think they might have tried to put JD stickers on. :sidelaugh

I wonder why people painted there old bolens JD green? I bought
a hood from Sam for my 1886 and that one was greeeeeen also. Still
