First remove the belt, you can pull slack against the deck spring then lift it off the pto pulley. Mechanical pto has a spring clip on top, lift it over the big screw and the whole pto will slide out on the shaft so you can get the belt off the pulley. Also remove the handle then the belt comes off. Not sure about an electric pto. May just fit over it. Make sure you keep track of the belt routing around the cover guide pins for reassembly.
The deck has 2 hair type pins under the motor, 1 on either side, pull those out and you can pull back on the spring-loaded lever that will drop the front bar. Then roll the tractor backwards and the back of the scissor lift will drop out of the frame bracket. Then wrestle the deck out the smooth side.
There's not much to it, but the deck is heavy so have to do it a couple times before it gets easy. Goes together pretty easy too. Just make sure to route the belt on the right side of the guide pins or they will break when you run it.
